Moss - The First Ten Years
Product Reference: TSV5

Starting with his early days in 500 cc racing we follow Stirling’s career through the remarkable variety of cars he raced, V16 BRM, G-Type ERA, Cooper-Alta, HWM, Jaguar, Maserati, Aston Martin, Vanwall and the Rob Walker Coopers and Lotuses. In 1958, driving a Vanwall, he looked set to become Britain’s first World Champion, but lost the title by one point. ‘Weekend at Le Mans 1957’. This was the last year of the ‘big bangers’ in the fifties, as a 3-litre capacity limit was imposed on sports car racing in 1958. As in 1956 it was an Ecurie Ecosse D-Type Jaguar that won the race.
